Incredible India, an international marketing campaign started by the Government of India to promote tourism in India in 2002 has taken a new turn.The government of India ( Congress ) had appointed Aamir Khan as the face of this campaign the titled it as “Atithi Devo Bhava”.
After serving this marketing strategy for several years, Aamir Khan has been discontinued by the present Government of Bharatiya Janata Party .
It is said that, removal of Aamir Khan happened because of the controversial comments made by Aamir Khan on intolerance in India.Facts are unknown, the Government says that Aamir hasn’t been removed intentionally but agreement with him got expired.
On to the topic, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra have been reportedly appointed as new brand ambassadors of Incredible India.
The government of India will soon make an announcement on this.
