Kerala pacer Srisanth who was banned from playing cricket by BCCI hits the headlines again.It’s known that Srisath was arrested by delhi police in 2013 on match fixing charges and he was sent to Tihar Jail.
Srishanth later released on bail and he is facing probe from the Delhi court.
Now in a sensational claim, a family member of cricketer S Sreesanth and noted Malayalam singer Madhu Balakrishnan said his brother-in-law survived a murder attempt in Tihar jail.
Speaking to a TV channel Balakrishana has alleged that there was an attempt to kill Srisanth when he was lodged in Tihar jail in the IPL spot-fixing scam.
“There was an attempt to kill Sree in Tihar jail.
A goon who was a murder accused tried to hit him with a weapon that he made by sharpening a door’s bolt.Luckily Srisanth escaped unhurt,” Balakrishnan told a Malayalam TV channel.
Balakrishanan further alleged that many players in the Indian cricket team are the culprits in the IPL spot fixing scam but their names were not revealed.
