It was a big blow on Monday for TDP in telangana state.KCR’s gamble of making five candidates stand the MLC elections paid off richly .All the five candidates contested in MLC elections from TRS won comfortably.Congress managed to get its nominee Akula Lalitha elected and TDP candidate Vem Narendar Reddy lost the battle.
As per sources there were five NOTA votes registered and probably all are from TDP ally BJP.
The victorious TRS candidates are Kadiyam Srihari, Tummala Nageswara Rao, B Venkateswarlu, Neti Vidya Sagar and K Yadav Reddy.It was a double whammy for the TDP as its candidate Vem Narender Reddy lost the battle and its brightest star in Telangana Revanth Reddy is now behind the bars.
