Medak: Telangana Government with a novel motto is taking up a new program titled ‘Green Book System’ in which all the industrial areas are bound to plant 1/3rd areas with trees all over state.Minister for Industries, IT, Municipal Administration and Urban Development industrial areas will en-mark areas for planting trees which will be uploaded online.
All the industries must plant trees for a better cause and report it online.
Trees planted in industrial clusters will be monitored by Geo Fencing System.
All the industrial areas will be surveyed through Photogrammetric Method that enables Government to track and maintain reports on trees planted.Government plans to extend this greenery to 1/3rd in another three years.Minister along with Principal Secretary Mr.Arvind Kumar, Commissioner of Industries Mr.Manick Raj, MD TSIIC Mr.Narasimha Reddy planted saplings in Industrial areas of Muppireddypalli of Toopran mandal in Medak District as a part of Haritha Haaram.42 Lakhs of saplings are to be planted throughout the state of these 32 lakhs will be planted by Commissioner of Industries.
