The business of Telugu Cinema is reaching new heights with every biggie’s arrival.Baahubali started the market expansion and the rest are completely enjoying the fruits of it.Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Brahmotsavam and now Khaidi No 150, theatrical rights of all three major biggies were sold out for above 70cr.
Megastar Chiranjeevi created several pre release records in certain trade areas, but those records wouldn’t last longer.Khaidi No.150 theatrical rights for East Godavari were sold at 5.40 cr for Anusree films.This is a record.
According to the reports coming from trade sources, a distribution company has offered 6.75cr for Mahesh 23 rights in East.That’s 1.35cr more than what Khaidi No 150 was sold for.Anyhow, Mahesh will beat Chiranjeevi in most of the areas, if this news of 6.75cr offer is true, then it will be a huge margin.
This Telugu – Tamil bilingual, directed by AR Murugadoss is new hot cake in the market.As we have said earlier, the film will do anything near 150cr business before the release with theatricals and non theatrical rights.
