Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Srimanthudu is getting richer thanks to some astonishing business deals that are being sealed.We have already reported about film’s mammoth pre-production business.
On its theatrical distribution scene, Srimanthudu has already minted close to 55 crores from all areas.Now the movies has created unbelievable record in terms of satellite price. As per reliable sources, Satellite Rights of ‘Srimanthudu’ got sold out for a whooping Rs 17 crore.Popular telugu channel Zee Telugu acquired the rights.
While Rs 12 crore out of it is for the Telugu version rights, Rs 5 crore went for Hindi dub.This is highest satellite price for any Mahesh film till now.Rs 17 crore is at least 35% of ‘Srimanthudu’ Total Cost of Production.Pocketing such a huge sum in the form of Satellite Rights even before the film release is a remarkable feat.
This once again proves Mahesh Babu’s stamina which is unfaded even after two back to back disasters. Recently trade analysts got shocked after knowing that Satellite Rights of Ram Charan-Srinu Vytla’s film were sold out for Rs 13 crore including Telugu rights & Hindi dub.Now Srimanthudu has raised the bar.
