A free run is very important for all hugely invested films. It’s not easy to recover the investment even with a positive talk, unless there is no other option for audience to watch, except your film. Mahesh Babu’s Spyder is a biggie produced with a massive budget of 100cr. The film is said to be made lavishly on international standards. Considering the hype, Spyder will do a theatrical business of over 130cr with ease. But not exactly the scale and business are disturbing Mahesh Babu and his fans, but Bunny’s all of sudden decision is giving them stress.
Allu Arjun is not near to Mahesh Babu’s market and boxoffice pull, but DJ will still hurt Spyder by eating up the screens. Allu Arjun is very much interested to release DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham on June 23. He has not much to lose in a clash, unlike Mahesh, who is bearing the weight of 130-150cr.
As we heard, Mahesh Babu is reportedly upset with the Allu hero for his thoughts of clash all of sudden. The makers of Spyder have announced the release date months ago. So, it’s Allu Arjun who is buying a clash here. It doesn’t matter if Spyder will win the clash by collecting more than DJ, but the Bunny starrer would cause nothing but losses to Spyder if released on June 23.
We hope, the clash will get averted. Remember how Mahesh postponed his Srimanthudu for Baahubali? Ideally, Bunny should do the same respecting the financial risks Spyder is coming with.
