Not a great time to be in if you are a Mahesh Babu fan. Not many saw the sudden downfall of the Superstar coming. But life doesn’t make you feel comfortable all the time. Mahesh is going through a terrible phase of his career. The star delivered 4 disasters in his last 5 releases. Had Srimanthudu not performed upto his potential, things would have been even more worse.
Mahesh Babu compensated 14 reels producers after the debacle of 1-Nenokkadine. He did the same for Aagadu by returning around 70% of his remuneration. For Brahmotsavam, Mahesh came forward to the rescue of distributors and joined producer PVP in compensation. Now again, standing responsible for a disappointment called Spyder, Mahesh has reportedly returned 23 cr from his remuneration to the producers. That’s beyond being generous.
Spyder is estimated to cause 60-65 cr loss to the financially involved parties. Mahesh is compensating 23cr out of that. It’s more than 1/3 of the losses. Got to feel for the Superstar since he invested one and half year into the film and along with time his hardwork, blood and sweat gone in vain.
In other news, the star’s next Bharath Ane Nenu will restart from October 15th. This Koratala Siva directorial has Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani in the female lead. The film is expected to hit the screens next summer.
