S/O Satyamurthy movie released last week and is doing good business.The industry talk is that the film is capable of collecting much more than what it is collecting now and the reason for this is that the makers are not showing interest in post release promotions of the film.
One week into the release of the movie, trade sources hint at Vizag area buyers losing Rs 2 crore and West Godavari buyers losing Rs 50 lakh.But the director Trivikram Srinivas is believing in a concept that a film will be declared as a hit only in the second week and the fate of the film will be decided not in the first week.
Whatever it may be the film should collect even more money and there is no film in competition for this now.The prerelease hype was good for the film but the post release promotions are dull.This might show some affect on the film and its collections.The film unit planned a success meet too and the success meet was cancelled in last minute.
If the makers conduct it in time, there might be some craze to cash on.Hope the makers realize this now and make required arrangements to cash the craze.
