Krish is getting huge applause for making such a film and Balayya is getting appreciation for choosing such a a historical subject as his 100th film.Apart from this appreciation, Krish is facing criticism from a historian that the history is distorted in the film.

Historian named Pandulinga Reddy demanded that Telangana government should withdraw the tax exemption because the movie distorted history. He said that Satakarni was not a Telugu king.he was not born in Kotilingala.Satakarni son Pulomavi came to Amaravati to escape from the enemies.

Krish responded on this and said that “We have got very less information on Satakarni. When we read 5 books, there are 10 different versions. The story I read in my childhood.and other information form books utilized to make the story. Some people are saying that Satakarni was not a Telugu king.I don’t want to discuss futher on this.

If that is the case, what Vishwanatha Satyanarayana Sastry written was wrong ? What Parabrahma Sastry told was wrong ? If Satakarni was not a Telugu king why would NTR wanted to make a film on him? I’m not a fool to make a film without doing proper reasearch.
