Khaidi No 150 has proved why and how Boss is back. The remake of Katthi raked much more than the original at the boxoffice, all thanks to the star power of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The film, which was sold to 89 cr, managed to collect over 101cr distribution share (excluding overflows) and made 12-13 cr profits for the financially involved parties. But, it’s not the same in Nizam area.
Khaidi No 150 was jointly distributed by Geetha Arts and Asian Films in Nizam. Can’t crack what exactly the deal was in between the two distribution houses but, Khaidi No 150 can be easily valued at 21-22 cr as far as theatrical rights are concerned.
The film raked only 19.50 cr share from Nizam. That means, it failed to reach the break-even point. In other words, Khaidi No 150 is a loss venture in Nizam. If loss venture is a rude word, we can term as under performer at least.
