Popular Telugu entertainment channel, MAA TV has reportedly been put for sale.Industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad owns along with Union tourism minister K.Chiranjeevi and his brother in law Allu Aravind and actor Nagarjuna.
Popular media house Star India is going to acquire MAA and both Star India and MAA Television Network today announced a deal .A memorandum of understanding has been entered into with Star India for this purpose.
A press meet was arranged a short while ago and the announcement was made in the presence of Maa TV owners .Star India is a huge name in media business and has been providing television content for over a decade now.This is the first time Star family stepping into Telugu channel market.
The collaboration will benefit both the Media Houses and details of the ownership and revenue details will be out soon.
