LGBT is not legal in India.We don’t see such relationships becoming legal any soon.Every year thousands of Gays and Lesbians conduct rally’s with their demands but all thier efforts as usually go in vain.It’s really hard to accept such sensitive relationships in our Indian conservative society.As long as parents feel ashamed of having a gay or lesbian in home, we can’t change the way the society sees LGBT.
Then what about Indian youth ? Do they prefer to be out of the box ? Do Indian men care dating a boy instead of a girl ? Do Indian women love to share bed with a girl instead of a man ? An online poll channel has conducted two different polls asking boys and girls separately about thier interest in having emotional and $exual relationship with thier own gender.
When it comes to boys, 84% objected having a $exual relationship with same gender.That means, they have no interest in becoming a gay.They are not at all interested to have interest on other men.16% have thought that they would have a go if they find the right person.
Women’s poll result will surprise you.73% of women don’t mind having a $exual relationship with a woman.They don’t mind turning a lesbian.Only 27% of women strictly objected a $exual relationship with a woman.
Why so much difference in mentalities? Can’t understand but as an assumption, we would say that Indian men think that being a gay is nothing but shame to masculinity.We can’t judge whether it is an immature thought or not.
