Fraudsters spare none, not even the law-makers.In what appears to be the first case of its kind, a person duped some of MLA’S by promising fancy numbers.
As per reports police arrested a person named Maddula Babu alias Deepak who duping several people by luring in name of fancy numbers.According to reports Deepak posed as the CEO of a reputed mobile company and collected money online from the fancy number seekers using Facebook accounts.
According reports he collected hefty amounts from people and many of the victims are MLA’S.He reportedly Rs 9.27 lakh from Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan, Rs 64000 from Penamalur MLA Bode Prasad, Rs 42000 from Gopalapuram MLA, Rs 15000 from former MLA Anam, Rs 24000 from former MLA of Eluru.The police acting on a tip-off arrested him and recovered Rs 12.20 lakh from Deepak.
