In that context Venky starrer Drishyam is a true blockbuster.Venkatesh’s ‘Drishyam’ minted Rs 8.30 crore for 7 days in AP and 10.28 crore worldwide.The Sripriya directorial is strong in overseas too.Drishyam budget is said to be around Rs 6 crore including publicity and producer Suresh Babu is expected to get at least of Rs 25 crore counting satellite and other rights.
As expected by Suresh babu , ‘Drushyam’ received positive reviews and word of mouth is very positive.This helped Venky pocked an whooping Rs 5.5 crore as his remuneration.As per trade, ‘Drushyam’ is performing well in A centers and decent in B & C centers.A lot depends on the 2nd Week revenues to decide the actual success range of this remake.
