On his last days, Hero Srihari wanted to plunge into direct politics and serve the society.Just before his demise, Srihari expressed his wish to contest as MLA from Kukatpally and there were news he is planning to join Congress party
But suddenly all his dreams went with his soul.
Now Srihari’s wife Shanthi is all set to make her husband’s dream of entering politics, come true
Shanthi who is slowly coming to terms with the death of her husband told an English daily that she wants to join politics.However, she will not be contesting on Congress ticket.
She is planning to contest as an independent candidate.
She is so adamant to contest that she is also ready to contest as Independent in case she is not offered ticket by any party.
Kukatpally is currently being represented by Lok Satta’s Jaya Prakash Narayan.He recently announced that he will contest the seat once again.
If all goes well Shanthi need to take on JP on Kukatpally in next Assembly elections
So let us hope his dreams to serve the society will come true through his wife Shanti.
