Story
Indian origin Jackie Shroff one of the finest magicians runs Great Indian Circus in Chicago.Due to late payment of bank installments Chicago bank takes over his circus company, because of that Jackie Shroff shoots himself before his son Sahir[Aamir Khan].
So Sahir along his twin brother Samar decided to take revenge on Chicago bank and make it bringing down by robbing their banks.Jai [Abhishek Bachchan] and Ali [Uday Chopra] comes from India to Chicago to stop him.Did Sahir and Samar take their revenge on Chicago bank? Does Jai-Ali got successful in catching Sahir-Samar has to be seen on silver screen.
Star Performances
Aamir Khan is biggest asset of the movie and he nailed it down strongly with his performance in dual role.Especially second half of the film totally belongs to him, Aamir has given his best in action sequences and all his stunts on stage are good to watch.Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous on screen and her dances movie with sexy expressions are visual treat to watch, even though her role was short she made her presences felt.
Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra are regular in their cop Jodi and this time comedy section for Uday is also less.Even the character of Abhishek Bachchan is shortened but both did justice to the roles given to them.Jackie Shroff was decent in his role.Rest of the characters have nothing much scope for her roles as more concentration is given to Aamir Khan only.
Technical Department
Director Vijay Krishna Acharya has proved that he has talent which is unmatchable to rest of the director in Hindi cinema world.His screenplay and story was very good without any complainants in any department which he handles.
Music by Pritam was neat and Julius Packiam background music is solo of Dhoom 3.
Sundeep Chatterjee cinematography is one of the highlights of the movie, slow motion scenes are brilliant on screen.Ritesh Soni editing was slick and sharp.Production values of Dhoom3 are very lavish and world class.
Analysis
First half of the Dhoom 3 wraps up with couple of bank robberies and the chasing scenes with brilliant action chorography will thrill you for sure.But you keep missing the presences of Hrithik Roshan in many terms.
But the director has covered it a bit with his engaging screenplay and also the characters of the film are introduced very well.Flash back part of the film is presented beautifully by the director.
Second half of the film is sole with Aamir showing his acting skills and keeps everyone spellbound.Small love track between Aamir-Katrina was neat and even though bikini was missed here but hot kiss scene on lead pair is filmed with grace.
Couples of twists in second half are handled with confidences and are also good.With powerful technical department, perfect casting and strong production values makes Dhoom 3 as best in Dhoom series of films with world class experience to audiences.
