Daggubati Rana’s film banned in Pakistan

Daggubati Rana- Akshay Kumar starrer Bollywood film ‘Baby’ released today and earned super hit talk.As per reports the film will not be shown in Pakistan as the censor board of the country refused to allow it screening.Pakistan censor board banned the film as it portrays a negative image of Muslims and the negative characters in the film also have Muslim names.

‘’Baby” is an espionage action thriller film, which has been written and directed by Neeraj Pandey.It deals with terrorism, one of the biggest threats faced by India

The movie is about a dare-devil spy agent, who is part of an elite team Counter Intelligence Unit.How he discovers a major threat to the nation masterminded by a maniacal leader forms the crux of the story.

Pakistan censor board routinely bans films deemed to have ‘anti- Pakistan’ themes.In the past, the local censor board banned ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ that featured an Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent.

Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Taapsee Pannu, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Madhurima Tuli have played pivotal roles in “Baby” and their performances are among the main highlights of the film.This is third film for Rana in Bollywood after Dum Maro Dum and Department.

Meanwhile, Rana’s new Tamil project is yet-untitled, and will go on the floors March 2015.
