Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday joined Twitter.Gandhi’s Twitter handle, called “Office of RG”.A senior party leader aware of the development said the account was authentic and was of Gandhi’s office.
Gandhi’s Twitter handle @OfficeOfRG is a verified account with more than 23,700 followers.He only follows three accounts – Indian National Congress (@INCIndia), Youth Congress (@IYC) and National Students’ Union of India (@NSUI).
The first tweet of Rahul Gandhi’s account states that he will be kick starting a padayatra in Telangana.“Watch this space for information and updates on Rahul Gandhi’s official programs and upcoming events,” said the first tweet on Thursday.
