The Rajya Sabha has took up the discussion on Telangana statehood bill after an agreement was reached between the ruling and opposition parties.The discussion was started on the bill and megastar Chiranjeevi made his maiden speech on the house
Chiranjeevi said that he’s pained to see what happened in the two Houses and he’s pained to go against his party’s stand over Telangana creation.
He said that the process that is being adopted to create Telangana is very unfortunate
The popular Telugu actor added that it was unfortunate that he had to disagree with his party’s line on this issue.However, he said Congress can’t be blamed for biting the Telangana bullet.
He made it clear that Congress is the last party to take decision on it.Chiru blamed BJP, TDP, YSRCP and all other parties.
Chiru sparred with Venkaiah Naidu by questioning BJP’s motives behind supporting Telangana.”Though the BJP says that they were always for Telangana, when NDA was in power they went back on their word,” he accused
TDP and YSRC have done more damage to Seemandhra.TDP leaders should ask their party supremo what’s the meaning of Equal Justice.Naidu don’t have clarity.

While BJP leader, Arun Jaitley questions Chiranjeevi’s stand, asks him to resign as Union minister.
“Is a minister allowed to oppose a bill moved by the government and Chiranjeevi must resign if he is against his party’s line on Telangana,said Jaitley.
Other side ,The Centre is clear that it will pass the legislation in the upper house by tomorrow, the last day of the session.
