Yesterday, a song teaser from Brahmotsavam titled “Madhuram Madhuram” was released.Though the output of video and shots received mixed response, the tune and the lyrics were too catchy and graceful to hear.
An information which surprises, this song is neither tuned by Mickey J Meyer, nor penned by Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry.
The entire song is lifted from “Madhurashtakam” written by Shri Vallabhacharya, a poet from 16th century, which describes the handsomeness of Lord Shri Krishna.
It would be interesting to see who are given credits in audio CDs and movie for this song.Too early to judge, this might just be a lead to fresh tune and lyrics too.By the way, the audio launch of Brahmotsavam is not too far away.May 7th is the date.
