Film star and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna conducted his tour in Uttar Andhra to extend his support to the Hudhud cyclone victims.Balakrishna who was on a tour of the cyclone affected areas was interacting with the media and said that he was shocked beyond words on seeing the unprecedented havoc caused by the cyclone The actor opined Hudhud Cyclone’s over 200 kmph wind speed was something people have witnessed first time in the history.
He was saddened at the way the Vizag City, which was very popular with tourists, was completely wiped out of its greenery.Balayya opined having Chandrababu in situations like these is a boon to the Telugus.Balakrishna recalled his father’s (Sr.NTR) contribution, who always rose to the occasion whenever a natural calamity .He Said, Naidu is doing a good job by inspiring the officials and employees to work hard while the people showed their will power.He also handed a cheque for Rs 35 lakhs as his personal contribution to the CM’s Relief Fund.
Other side Andhra Pradesh government has appealed to people to donate generously to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief, restoration and rehabilitation in the state’s cyclone-hit area.
