Andhra Pradesh lost its capital after the formation of Telangana State.Even though Hyderabad is the common capital for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for 10 years, Chandrababu lead TDP government is taking measures to bring administration to the new capital Amaravati.

Chandrababu is very particular about shifting the base to new capital as soon as possible.Some departments are already functioning from the Vijayawada and Guntur as capital city is in the nascent stage.

In a recent development speaker of Andhra Pradesh assembly Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao revealed that winter sessions of Assembly will be conducted in Amaravati in the next month.He said the temporary building is ready in Velagapudi for the assembly sessions and it has all the facilities for the smooth functioning of sessions.

Going by Siva Prasada Rao’s statement, it is clearly evident TDP government is keen on running the Assembly sessions in Amaravati from now onward.

It is a welcome move from the government as people are Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for the Amaravati to be fully functional capital within a short period of time.
