Laptop is a flexible device to use. We can use them without on time electricity. We can take it in travelling and there are more several features about a Laptop which makes it much flexible than a desktop. But there is one problem with Laptop. That is battery life. Firstly, Laptops are costly. They come with a good battery life only if you are ready to spend anything above 30,000 rupees. There are hybrid laptops these days which offer great battery life but they are short of specifications. Secondly, not many of us are using new range laptops. We have old models with us.
With the passage of time, we see the battery power declining. Our laptops run out of it’s usual best battery performance for many reasons. Then, how to maintain a healthy battery life? How to do that ? Well, there is one command which can completely scan your system and it will find some ways to enhance battery performance. The command is POWERCFG/ENERGY. Here are the instructions for executing the command using CMD.
Step 1: Click on the Start Menu.
Step 2 : Go to search bar and type “ CMD ”
Step 2: After you see the display icon of “ CMD ” , right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
Step 4 : It will open command line. Run the command “powercfg/energy”. It works for both Windows 7 and Windows 8 users.
