All passengers who have plans to travel by locomotives, that is, the most popular mode of transportation, Railways, might have to change their plans and look for alternatives from July 11th.Employees of the South Central Division of Indian Railways, decided to take the long pending issues into their hands and are demanding a solution for all their problems at one go.
Today, they came in a huge rally, from Secunderabad to Railway Head Quarters, and headed over their Strike Notice, to South Central Regional General Manger, Mr.G.Ravinder.They demanded in the Notice to address their long pending problems like; recruiting new employees, introducing a new pension scheme, dismissal of Bibek Debroy committee and few more neglected issues.
They have given the Railways management time till July 11th, to call them for a meeting and form an amicable solution.If, management fails to acknowledge their issues in time, the employee union leader, Mr.Raghavayya, assured that they will go on a Strike.Unfortunately, for the common travellers, the employees did not specify any time limit for their Strike and even the management hasn’t responded to the Notice, yet!
